One of Best Bed and Breakfast in St. Augustine, Florida

My husband and I went there couple years ago and I have never been staying in bed and breakfast, and this “Carriage Way” is a 1st time that I stayed in together with my husband and since then, I liked to stay in bed and breakfast. We decided to visiting this St. Augustine as it is the “Oldest City in America.” I liked the "Carriage Way" since it is well decorated, has antiques and offer free hot tasty breakfast. We had nice room and private bath. I would love to visit St. Augustine again and we will stay in “Carriage Way Inn.” They have great host which are are very friendly and gave information to us where we go.

The “Carriage Way” is a Victorian Bed and Breakfast inn, which is located in the heart of historic St. Augustine, Florida. It is a great place to stay for a romantic vacation and it is located close to charming shops, museums, great restaurants, historic sites and beautiful beaches. The bed and breakfast constructed between 1883 and 1885 by Edward and Rosalie Masters. The rooms are named for former owners and individuals who were significant to the history of the home. For many years, the home was very prominent in the city of St Augustine. Then, in the 1940s, the house was converted into apartments. In 1984, the structure was lovingly and restored to its original grandeur, fulfilling a dream of creating Carriage Way. The bed and breakfast has 11 kind of rooms and we stayed the room called “St. John Brown Room” which is located on the first floor. We had a handsome queen size, Victorian style; wrought iron bed is white, with a complimenting twin size day bed. There is a nice chair for reading, a dresser and a closet. The private bathroom for this room is a hall bath that is three or four steps from the room and the bathroom is big and has a shower. Moreover, many of the rooms have family heirlooms from different States such as Oklahoma, New Orleans and Illinois. All rooms have telephones and wireless high-speed internet access and rates range from $99.00 to $439.00 per night that includes breakfast and complimentary beverages. Beach style bicycles are available also for use and early morning coffee and newspapers are furnished and in the afternoon and there is a special dessert treat that is great! We did buy 2 mugs from them also as remembrance and we do have them and I kept them as we had great experienced staying in their place. The Carriage Way Inn voted as best bed and breakfast! I recommend this Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast in St. Augustine.

Since we are staying in Indianapolis for 4 mos. we did not miss visiting them and decided to visit them this month. We are fond of bed and breakfast. We did check 1st in the trip advisor where we could stay and this “INNISFREE Celtic Bed and Breakfast” is no. 1 in tripadvisor site, so, we decided to booked in there for just 1 night. The address of this is 702 West Colfax South Bend IN 46601.We arrived in there about 3 o’clock in the afternoon and we were there, the place there are some people and we found out they have a reception for wedding. I observed the bed and breakfast is very nice one and of course it has a good review in tripadvisor and it is no. 1, so I took a bunch of pictures as you can see below. I was amazed since by the door has a design which I have not seen like that before. The house full of antiques and great designs and the bathroom that we had is a Victorian style, the room that we had was great, and the bed was comfortable and they offer tasty free breakfast. The restroom that we had shared with other guests, I do not like when it shared but I cannot help about it and besides we paid lesser too.

The Studebaker Mansion, Studebaker National Museum, and downtown shops and restaurants are within walking distance, less than a mile away. The University of Notre Dame and St. Mary's College are approximately two miles away. A wide welcoming front porch leads to the entry and foyer. This Celtic-inspired inn is filled with antiques and family heirlooms. Great Experienced Staying in A Luxury Hotels

My husband and I travel sometimes anywhere in the States and overseas like visiting my sister in Switzerland and my sister and her husband lives in Bern which one of my favorite City to visit. When we are there we also roam around there. My favorite places to visit there also is Zermatt as where the known and unique shape of mountain called "Matterhorn" and I liked Lugano, Bern, Luzern, Zurich (which is known desirable place to live in), Geneva and other tourist place in Switzerland. I have been there on year 2004 and recently was last year on November. My husband and I had a blast visiting my sister there and the reason why we visited my sister as she delivered a baby that time and it was her 1st baby, my 1st nephew and 1st grandchild of my parents and it was great!

My husband and I book online a hotel and sometimes we do stay in a very nice hotel when there is an occasion. We did stay in one great hotel in Vegas called the Venetian hotel during our civil wed on 2005 and 2nd time on year 2007 when we get back in Las Vegas during our 2nd anniversary and we did stay there one of the nicest hotel in Vegas which is the Bellagio. The Bellagio is one of my favorite hotels that we stayed in since the fountain looks beautiful as they danced with the music and besides they have beautiful gardens that you can see their and you can say it is a luxury one, because of the lavish decorations. I do loved to stay in Venetian and Bellagio hotel again and perhaps one day when we go there and when there is an occasion or in our 4th year anniversary of marriage. I have found this hotelscombined.com, which is a great and helpful website that I liked, because it helps you to find good rates and it compares over 30 of major reservations site at once and it really amazed me as it is quick and easy as all what you do, you can type the search the name of the hotel or you can browse by country and you can find different kinds of hotels how much is rate and how good it is as they are rated by stars. It amazes me, how it really such a great help to people who are traveler and people who are seeking where to stay anywhere in the world. .

One of Great Hotel in Chicago is Marriott Residence Inn

My husband and I decided to go to Chicago just for weekend fun since I never been there before but my husband went there when he was younger and he had not been since he was at age of 24 and that was a long time and he forgotten what is good in there. We went there last week of May and we arrived there on Friday afternoon about 4 o’clock and when we arrived there we wanted to get a room that is in the highest floor, but we end up in the 12th floor but it was alright as long as we got a room. We got a food, a drink since my husband is a platinum member, we used points to stay in there, and it was good we saved some money too. The room that we had, we can see the view of some tall buildings in Chicago. We suppose to stay in other Marriott which located Michigan Ave. as it is a St. which popular as there are some prestige shopping stores/department and where the great, old buildings that you can see but they asked more points to stay in there. We decided to stay in Residence Inn for couple of nights that is located in 201 East Walton Place Chicago, Illinois 60611, which is not far from Michigan Ave at all.

The one popular restaurant called Harry Caray is just across of the hotel that was good and where we ate our dinner. I liked our room since it 100 times better than we stayed in Indianapolis and besides the hotel is just brand new as we asked the receptionist and she said, it built 2 years ago. I was amazed as it is somewhat luxury. The room that we had was very nice, great decorations and we had a flat screen TV too. You can see the pictures of our room that we had below and the view from our hotel room. They offer free breakfast, weekday social hour and High Speed Internet and, a full dinner buffet on Wednesday evenings. Whether it is for a night, a week or a long-term visit, Residence Inn Chicago Downtown offers magnificent accommodations that feel like home and the hotel is elegant which I liked. The Magnificent Mile hotel offers a friendly and accommodating staff to make your stay comfortable. And with the ideal location in Chicago's esteemed Gold Coast district, you are within minutes of world-class dining, Magnificent Mile shopping including American girl place, cultural venues including Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier, Field Museum and also Lake Michigan, as well as business and financial centers. I loved Residence Inn Chicago Downtown as offers spacious suites and free high-speed Internet access, spacious room, fully equipped kitchens with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, daily grocery shopping available at extended stay suites hotel, social hour including beverages and light snacks in their gatehouse Monday through Thursday, Wednesday night complimentary full dinner buffet. We are fond of staying in Marriott Residence Inn and the hotel in Chicago is one of my favorite. We had great fun staying in this “Marriott Residence Inn” hotel and had a blast in Chicago. I liked the City since it is windy as when we were there it was warm and it makes me feel cool but I knew it’s so cold during winter time as when wind blows on you during cold time which makes you freeze and reminds me when were in New York, it was windy there which was very cold.

My husband and I do something interesting during weekend, we wanted to go different place somewhere in Indiana, and we decided to go to Bloomington for weekend fun on 2nd week of May. We did not plan to go there but my husband was being optimistic we would have fun as the University Indiana is there. We always depend in trip advisor site where we will stay and good place to eat and any tourist destinations recommend, as the trip advisor is mostly right. We checked in trip advisor and found a great place to stay and this “Grand Street Inn” is no. 1 in tripadvisor, so we decided to stay in there for just 1 night. We arrived there in Bloomington on Saturday about 2:00 pm and when we arrived there I liked already the hotel since it’s very nice inside. The address of this is 310 North Grant Street Bloomington, Indiana 47408. This Grant Street Inn is a 24-room bed and breakfast inn located in the heart of charming Bloomington, Indiana, just two blocks from Indiana University and four blocks from the courthouse square. Some rooms have romantic fireplaces and bathtub Jacuzzis and others have beautiful porches and private outside entrances. All rooms have a private bath, phone, and cable TV. They offer free tasty, hot breakfast and free Wi-Fi too. You can see the picture below of our nice big bed and luxury bedroom. We paid for it about $200 and that is why we paid like that as we booked in last minute and that is the only bedroom they have a available and I am glad we got one and stayed at least 1 night and experienced in their place. Weekend Fun in Chicago (Windy City)

My husband and I went to Chicago last weekend May 30 until June 1 just for fun. My husband been in Chicago when he was 24 years old and that is a long time and I have never been in Chicago and that is why I was excited. Chicago is known for basketball team called “Chicago Bulls,” the “Oprah Show and others. My husband and I heading in Chicago on Friday May 30 it was a good day since it was sunny and we did not really caught in traffic. Chicago is a massive City with big, tall buildings which is somewhat overwhelming if you are not living in a big City. My husband and I staying here in Indy for almost 4 mos. there are some tall buildings in here but in Chicago the buildings are tall, nice and old buildings which it seems like New York too. We arrived in our hotel that we stayed in “Marriott Residence Inn” in Dearborn St. which is just few blocks away from the Michigan Ave. as known street in Chicago as where the nice old skyscrapers’ that you can see and also prestigious shops. By the time, we arrived in our hotel we checked in and decided to eat out since we felt hungry and we went to eat in a nice expensive restaurant called Harry’s Caray’s restaurant and bar which they have delicious food. After we ate, we walked around the City and took alot of pictures of the buildings and decided to see one show called “Supernatural Chicago” which is an interesting one which you will know some creepy stories about Chicago, see magic and others. In 2nd day, my husband and I decided to explore more the City and while walking we saw the sign "river boat tour" and we end up doing it as we suppose to go to the Navy Pier, I highly recommend to people to do it since the tour guide is very knowledgeable and she talks about who design the buildings, what type of designs, how old is the building is, the history of Chicago etc. It was really fun to have tour like that on the river around the City. It took about more than 90 minutes ride which my husband and I enjoyed. On Sunday as last day staying in Chicago, we planned to have a food tour, I was skeptical about it if it’s good or not but I was wrong since we had fun doing the food tour as our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable too and during our food tour we tasted and learned about different kind of tea, tasted different kinds of vinegar which others are 18 years old and tasted different kinds of olive oil, tasting chocolate, cheese, variety of spices and much more! Staying and exploring in Chicago was unforgettable experienced to us. We will come back there again soon! I will post pictures in 2nd post about our food tour, boat cruise tour, tallest, nice and old buildings etc.

Visit the Longest Navigable Underground River in the World

My husband, me and my good friend have been visited together this “Longest Navigable Underground River in the World” which is located in St. Paul National Park in the province of Palawan, Philippines. One time, my husband, my friend and I did roam around in Puerto Princessa and we saw the tourist information and we found out what to do and we decided to visit and see the underground river. On the next day we did had a tour guide and road a van going to Sabang where the underground river is about 25-30 minutes away by boat. It took for us about 4-5 hours to arrived in that place and the good thing we had a good tour guide telling us the story and she is quite talkative and friendly. It was somewhat far away but we stopped by to buy some food, buy coffee and relax a little bit etc. I estimated we paid the tour for 3 of us about 7,000 pesos which about $150 and I am not sure right now how much is it but the food is included of our tour which we had buko (coconut) juice, crabs, rice, veggies, chicken etc. (yummy) and that was for our lunch. Anyway, we did ride a boat going to Underground River for about 25-30 minutes if I am not mistaken and the tour was about an hour in Underground River and the water is brackish water. The River features a limestone karts mountain landscape with an 8.2 km. or 5.1 miles long navigable underground river. A distinguishing feature of the river is that it winds through a cave before flowing directly into the South China Sea. The lower portion of the river is subject to tidal influences. The underground river is reputed to be the worlds longest. Furthermore, during our tour we wore life jacket and a helmet for safety which is necessary too and the tour provides it. During our tour we had fun as we can see different rocks formation and one funny thing that I remembered the tour guide in the underground river said “vegetable section” (he-he) looking the veggie formation makes me hungry. We had wonderful time during our tour which was great and it was unforgettable experienced.
